An established and growing multidisciplinary infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team, supporting the successful delivery of major rail and infrastructure projects across London and the surrounding areas.
Working alongside experienced commercial and operational teams, you will play a key role in managing the commercial performance of multiple projects from tender stage through to final account
Managing the commercial delivery of multiple rail and infrastructure projects
Preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets and forecasts
Producing Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and monthly commercial reports
Preparing and submitting applications for payment and valuations
Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiation, payments and final accounts
Identifying, pricing and negotiating variations and compensation events
Supporting tender submissions and reviewing project estimates
Monitoring project costs, cash flow and commercial risk throughout the project lifecycle
Working closely with Project Managers and operational teams to maximise project performance
Building strong working relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, particularly NEC forms of contract
Supporting commercial strategy and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
