A Dynamic fast paced rail principal contractor that is looking two Quantity Surveyors The company is based In the North West which is commutable from Manchester, Chester, Liverpool, Preston Warrington and Stockport. Which also offers great hybrid working.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the SQS and Commercial Manager with project risk management and enhance margin in alignment with commercial goals.
  • Produce CTC and CVR’s
  • Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for project
  • Support application of credit control
  • Maintain up-to-date records/reports/libraries of standard commercial documentation
  • Support the team in dispute resolution
  • Engage with the Client as well as subcontractors

Essential Skills

  • 5 years of experience in an infrastructure sector in a commercial role such as Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
  • Subcontractor management experience
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment in both the office and on site.
  • Personable , Proactive and Team orientated mindset

Desired Skills

  • Quantity Surveying Degree
